"Chevy" is a seven year old Quarter Horse mare
who stands 15.2 hands high. She is linebred Skipper W and exhibits the typical body style of the Weiscamp horses.
These horses have been linebred for years in order to produce optimum power, and therefore, optimum performance, Her sire
is a local stallion, Mr Bo Hancock and her dam is Annabell Popper. On June 9, 2006 Chevy gave birth to TimberRidge's
first foal in our breeding program: a leggy chestnut filly with even chrome. Feuervogel has benn registered with the
American Trakehner Association in the Appendix D Registry and lifetime with USEF.
This year, Chevy foaled out a flashy
chestnut colt. Tiberon is by Trakehner stallion Feron and is a grandchild of Olympic stallion, Peron. He will be registered
American Warmblood Registry and attend his inspection as a yearling in 2008.
While we have found the Trakehner to be
an excellent crop-out for the Skipper W lines, we have decided not to rebred Chevy and instead let her return to her duties
as a family riding horse.
